A8H DRIVERS & FREQUENCY RESPONSE The A8H’s rigid 8” woofer utilizes ADAM’s new Multi-Layer Mineral technology to reproduce frequencies with incredible accuracy, even when reaching as low as 42 Hz. A dedicated midrange driver offers impressive clarity in sensitive midrange frequencies, while ADAM’s X-ART tweeter delivers clear, detailed highs up to 41 kHz. The rotatable HPS waveguides make positioning these monitors even more versatile. Plus, the new front panel design makes port noise on the new A Series even lower, ensuring that your ears can trust exactly what they’re hearing. DUAL AMPLIFIED FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE The A8H features three onboard amplifiers, utilizing both analog Class AB amps and digital Class D amps to achieve the best performance. In the A8H, the woofers are driven by a powerful 250W Class D amplifier, which is extremely efficient and helps reduce distortion. The tweeters and midrange drivers are powered by 20W and 70W Class AB amplifiers, which offer a smooth, natural reproduction of high frequencies. ONBOARD DSP FOR CUSTOM CALIBRATION The new ADAM A Series also features intelligent new updates, like onboard DSP that works to tune itself to the sound of the user’s control room. In addition to the adaptation switches on the rear, the A8H offers in-depth room adaptation switches to help users tailor playback within their room. Four bands of equalization offer more than 100 unique tuning options to help compensate for the typical acoustic problems that arise from speaker placement. And with A Control software, you can even create a custom 6-band EQ setting and calibrate each of your ADAM Audio speakers remotely. Ideal for anyone who is unable to acoustically treat their workspace, the A Series studio monitors offer automated calibration through the A Control software, thanks to a collaboration with industry leader Sonarworks.
