Description

Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some fine knives for auction from a recent Case Canoe Collection acquisition. The winning bidder pays $5.95 for USPS Ground Advantage Shipping with Delivery Confirmation included in the Shipping price. We recently acquired a great collection of W.R. Case & Sons Canoe patterns. As you have seen, we started listing these a month ago and this one for auction is one right out of this fine Case Canoe Collection. Collector's Note!!!! Case no longer produces CV infused Carbon Steel. CV infused steel was originated and formulated specifically for WR Case Cutlery and it has been their private steel pour for years! The Chrome Vanadium (CV) gives the carbon that really fine almost Chrome appearance. Those days are gone for Case as now you will see 1095 blades. Collectors should update your notes as CV infused Carbon blades will be the new collectible in the future! This knife for auction is a 1982 issue Case 8 Dot 62131 Canoe , 3 5/8" closed, with very nice Genuine Bone (cattle bone) handles and the pinned enclosed Case oval shield. The master Spear blade has the popular Canoe deep etching and is tang stamped reading Case XX U.S.A. with 8 Dots, dating this a 1982 issue Case knife, while the rear tang of this blade is pattern stamped with 62131. Please be sure to see the Supersize Photos for the EXACT item you will receive. We will include a brand new unlabeled Case factory box as knives of this period did not come with boxes. This knife has never been used or carried minor patina on these old Case carbon steel blades from age. Both blades are tight with great "walk and talk" snap. This fine 1982 issue Case 8 Dot 62131 Canoe is being offered at No Reserve. Yes, A True No Reserve Auction Where The Bidding Starts At .99 Cents. Thanks for your bids, we appreciate it.
