Vintage FAIRFAX Fax-O-Matic Canister Vacuum Working with spinning Floor/Carpet Broom (Carnival ride glitter red). Made in Canada. This thing reminds me of if "Robby the Robot" ( Disney's "The Black Hole"), had a baby with the children's motorcycle ride from the county/state fare. LOL. Vacuum is fully functional & working. Sucks & blows depending on hole used. I spent some time and opened up every part I could get open to clean/disinfected every part I was able to easily get to. Some signs of age can be found throughout machine. The chrome does have some pockmarks/rust spots. I cleaned out a good amount of rust from inside the floor broom along with replacing foam that gasket. I used 1/4" thick foam. I could not find an OEM gasket nor do I believe it is necessary. The cord has a surface nick in rubber sleeve covering. It does not have any exposed wire. I took some black duct tape and covered it.
